1. "A Day at Grand Canyon" pastel painting won the Best of Show award at Prescott Fine Art Gallery "The New West" exhibition (June-July);

2. One oil and 3 pastel paintings won all top prizes (Best of Show, People's Choice, Superintendent's, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places) at the Arizona Yavapai County Fair (October);

3. Mei-June's three pastel paintings were juried into 20th Annual National Pastel Painting Exhibition by Pastel Society of New Mexico (November); 

4. Mei-June's three pastel paintings juried into Arizona Pastel Artists Association Fall Member Show (November);

5. A Day at Grand Canyon" pastel painting won the 2nd place at The Artist's Magazine's 28th Annual student art competition in the landscape category (see January/February 2012 issue of the Artist's Magazine).

6. Mei-June won “The Artist of the Year” award at the Prescott Valley Art Guild.  She received the highest cumulative points from the monthly competitions held at the art guild during the year of 2011.
